But the founder and chief designer, Kindo’s journey in the industry was a serendipitous one. “Before I started Maala London, I had a fashion and design boutique in Birmingham. After moving to London, I started designing jewellery for myself,” recalls Kindo. Receiving constant compliments and requests from family and friends to design jewellery for them encouraged Kindo to start her own label. “I started doing this from my room and then moved to Instagram.” It wasn’t too long before Maala London became one of the most sought-after semi-precious jewellery houses in the UK. “The brides I usually work with are high-end ones, who wear Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani and Manish Malhotra. So, they are looking for befitting pieces that look stunning and are of the highest quality. I take pride when people see my jewellery and they instantly know it’s a Maala London piece.”

Aurora’s Collection goodwill precedes its brand name. Sonal Pandya established the jewellery store in 2016 to celebrate heritage, style and innovation through her designs. Sonal shares, “I've always loved doing jewellery so I talked myself into setting up my jewellery business. Anees Malik is a jewellery designer based in Birmingham, we operate by an appointment only basis from our studio. We specialise in pakistani polki, American diamond and kundan jewellery pieces. We offer a bespoke custom services including sketches, production pictures for bespoke orders. Anees Malik has been established for over 12 years and has done many international shows and editorials.
